Pet Therapy Day at CMC Leadville
CMC Leadville has gone to the dogs!
Colorado Mountain College in Leadville is partnering with the Therapy Dogs of Chaffee County (TDCC) to offer a Pet Therapy Day at CMC Leadville on Wednesday, November 19th. Members will bring certified therapy dogs to campus for several hours of de-stress time.
Animals and handlers are planning to arrive around 11am. Their time will be spent visiting classrooms and faculty/staff offices in New Discovery & Pinnacle. Faculty who are interested and have the class time available can request to have the dogs stop by their class specifically.
The animals will then “hang-out” in Coronado 701 for “group therapy” time. Their visit will overlap with the faculty meeting so that they can get some quality time with the animals as well!
