Leadville Conference Services
Bring Your Meeting to the Mountains for Less
Leadville is an invigorating and very affordable setting for small to medium-sized meetings, conferences, retreats and sports camps.
Colorado Mountain College boasts state-of-the art meeting rooms and A.V. equipment, high-speed Internet, on-site food services, lodging from May through August, over 250 multi-use acres and is only one mile from historic downtown Leadville.
The lodging community of Leadville offers everything from the grand Victorian-era Delaware Hotel and numerous charming “bed and breakfasts” to more modern accommodations, including high-end executive condos, super clean motels and even single family vacation homes.
Summer temperatures rarely exceed the mid-70’s, with cool, crisp nights. You can golf on the nation’s highest course (where golf balls go farther and straighter, due to the thin air!), raft, fly fish in gold medal waters, hike, bike and explore Leadville’s legendary history.
Winters are sunny and wonderfully snowy, with family-friendly Ski Cooper just 9 miles from town. Other winter activities include snowshoeing, sled dog “mushing,” cross country skiing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and even swimming at the Lake County Pool (85 degrees year ‘round).
“We can get to Leadville easily but it is far enough away that people can really concentrate on the work and get it done. It is a beautiful locale…and the costs are low!” -Ken Sagendorf, USAFA, on annual retreat at CMC
“It has been a great place to get some high-altitude training in while getting to know each other.” – Coach Mark Kuhn, Castle View High School Cross Country
The beauty and fresh air of the Colorado Rockies create a refreshing setting year ’round, making Leadville a great, affordable choice for groups from 20 – 250!
