Thin air, breathtaking views (literally), and a supporting athletic community has lead to Leadville becoming a household name in the world of competitive running. The annual Leadville Race Series takes place each summer, and brings in thousands of competitors from around the world into the Cloud City. A lesser known group of student runners have chosen Leadville as their home base – and we’ve got some big news for them!

This gives the club the opportunity to compete in a regional and national championship format against other collegiate clubs across the country. NIRCA also gives students the opportunity to travel for meets, compete against other like-minded college students, and gain experience in leadership, club development, and networking at the national level.
