Haunted Hills 5k Costume Run

The CMC Leadville Running Club Presents:

Haunted Hills 5k Costume Run

The hills and trails are alive! Colorado Mountain College Leadville is hosting the first ever Haunted Hills 5k Costume Run on Saturday, October 29th at 4pm. The race will be put on by the CMC Leadville Running Club who hopes the event will bring in festive running and costume enthusiasts from around Lake, Summit, Eagle, and Chaffee Counties. Participants will race the 3 miles through the haunted forest in costumes with fright at every turn.

The course begins and ends at the multi-purpose field at Colorado Mountain College Leadville. Prizes will be awarded for top three male and female runners as well as best individual and group costumes.

“We want this event to bring the running community together to celebrate the Halloween spirit, “ says Darren Brungardt, CMC Leadville Running Club Advisor, “and we’re hoping to see some really creative costumes on the trails!”

Registration is available online at www.colomtn.me/HauntedHills. Entry fee to the Haunted Hills 5k Costume Run is $20 and $10 for students.  Packet pickup will take place at the start line unless it is snowing. If it is snowing, packet pickup will take place in the Climax Building.
