Leadville Library Learning Resources

CMC students and Lake County residents can access thousands of ebooks and audiobooks for free

Colorado Mountain College is dedicated to creating access points to resources for our mountain communities. Whether you are interested in improving your understanding of social inequalities or you want to catch up on the latest audiobook from your favorite author, Overdrive offers thousands of titles available to you with just a few clicks.

Accessible through the CMC Library website, Overdrive offers educational and popular materials. These materials are accessible to both Colorado Mountain College students and Lake County community members with their library card. As a member of the Marmot Library Consortium, Overdrive holds the collections of over 30 libraries, providing access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks.

CMC students are automatically set up with library cards. Community members can sign up for a library card by emailing Learning Commons Director, Liz Miller, esmiller@coloradomtn.edu to request the registration form.

“Students and community members alike can use resources like Overdrive to expand their world of ideas and information from their couch,” says Liz, “In this time where we cannot browse the shelves, Overdrive gives us the opportunity to still find what we are looking for. Let me know if you need a recommendation to educate yourself on social justice or a good summer read!”
