Student clubs and communities are a great way to connect with other students that share similar interests. Many students at Colorado Mountain College Leadville are passionate for the outdoors and a lot of our clubs reflect those interests. Ask your professors and other students about opportunities to participate in student clubs. If you want to start a new
club, go right ahead! Talk to the Student Affairs staff about how to do so. Club participation and leadership are excellent professional development experiences that are valuable to include on your resume.
The CMC Leadville Running Club meets most mornings for a group run on the campus trails. They also plan events, and participate in races around the state.
The Outdoor Pursuits Club is a student-run organization responsible for planning outdoor adventures. They provide the gear, the itinerary, and organize details like transportation and meals – you just sign up and join!
